Bingo Program

Treasure Chest Bingo Association (TCBA) represents 69 local, charitable organizations raising funds through charitable gaming at Treasure Chest Bingo, 1600 Bath Road, Kingston; we participate under contract with the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) and the City of Kingston.

We are a not-for-profit organization, managed by a volunteer Board of Directors elected from our membership and guided in Policies and Standards by the Ontario Charitable Gaming Association (OCGA).

Director of the Bingo Program is Br. Frank Cuvelier

Since 2016 the Bingo program has become our major source of funding for charitable purposes. Our Council is one of the 69 charitable organizations raising funds through the Ontario Lottery and Gaming (OLG) and the City of Kingston. It requires that all funds deemed as charitable earnings through our participation in the Bingos must be returned through the funding of the many non-profit organizations serving the citizens of the community.

Our Director, Br. Frank Cuvelier, was the persistent force over several years in obtaining the opportunity to participate. Today there are some 16 members of the Council who have received the training required to assist at the pre-identified bingos assigned throughout the month.

In our Council, the decision on which worthy charitable organizations we can assist and in what amount is subject to a vote by the membership based on the respective merits of each at a General Meeting. Some are identified through the annual budgetary process that is also subject to the membership’s vote.
